Build fruit tree guilds

We'll be installing fruit tree guilds in our main garden areas. These guilds will support the fruit trees and give them all the nutrients they need. We'll discuss the planning and do the building, planting and more.

Hoop house planting

A great way to extend the season. We'll be talking about setting up a proper hoop house setup. We'll talk about how we built ours very inexpensively and we'll be planting fall crops in ours.

Fencing build

We'll be installing a hi tensile fence on one line of our property to help deter deer from the orchard. We'll be talking about deer fences and perimeter fences. The best part is you'll get your hands dirty as we start from scratch on this fence build.

What to expect:

We'll start each session with plans for the day, break off into groups and then get down to business. You're going to learn a ton as we develop these projects, questions are always welcome and we can chat as we work, about what we are doing and why.

We want family farm school to be an amazing experience for everyone that joins us. For that reason, we'll be limiting the size of the group to just 10 families.

Young kids are welcome but please know their limitations. We do intend to do some serious farm work and want everyone here able to help and participate.
