Seeds & Flowers: Overview the process of seeds growing into plants, fruits and then growing again. Hands on activity included.

Native Plant Walk: Take a short stroll around the property finding things that are growing in this season, edibles, herbals, and more.

Pollinator Friends: What is pollination? How does it work? How can we help pollinators?

Composting Overview: How to start a simple home composting bin, what can be composted & how to use it for a better garden.

Nature Science: An overview of being a nature scientist–learning how to observe the world around you and document it in a nature journal or on an app.

Chickens: See the chickens, check for eggs, discuss how we manage them and give each visitor a chance to hold one.

Cows: See the cows, learn how they are a part of the ecosystem of our farm–what they provide us for food, for dairy & for improving the land.

Gardening: How do we garden for our home? What are some of the simplest ways to get started or improve our garden for better production & more fun?

Enjoy the woods: Discuss the habitats found therein and spend an hour or two building various shelters together. Enjoy the woods and learn some woodsy skills like fire-building, handling a knife safely, using the bathroom outside, orienteering, and general outdoor safety.

Play around the schoolhouse: enjoy the play area, toss some frisbees, play some giant jenga, toss some cornhole.

Forest School Games: Learn about nature through field games & stories.

Taste & Learn: Enjoy samples of products from our Community Market. Cheese, bread, coffee, chocolate, teas and more. Learn about organic & regenerative farming & how it’s impacting our world for the good & a bit about how our foods are our medicine!

Date Night: Gather a group of friends to come out for a date night! Enjoy wood-fired pizza, a variety of local hard Ciders and Wines, a delicious chocolate-y dessert and yard games like Kuub, Giant Jenga & Cornhole.
